China’s position as Australia’s largest wine export market has ushered in a ‘red dawn’ for winemakers, according to agribusiness banker Rabobank. China imported 41 per cent more Australian wine in the six months to June compared to the previous year, making it a key barometer for future red wine grape market conditions.
